Synopsis[]
Believing he has made Wilma and Betty disappear through magic, Fred capitalizes on his newfound freedom by taking Barney to a nightclub, the Rockland, where an old friend, trumpeter Hot Lips Hannigan, is performing. Fred even sings a song (the Saints). The jazz is cool until the wives show up, disguised as "hep chicks", to teach their wayward husbands a lesson.

- This is one of two episodes in which Fred has ability to sing. After the start of season two, Fred no longer has such abilities.

- The Rockland club is a parody of famous jazz club Birdland.
- The type of jazz played at the Rockland is called Be-bop, a faster tempo music popular during the 1950's - 1960's.
- The song "The Saints" or "when the Saints Go Marching In" was a standard jazz song of the early 20th century.
